Position Summary

We are looking for a Clinical Specialist in Sales Internal Partner Support. This role is crucial for promoting awareness of Ottobock products across our internal partner network. Key responsibilities include enhancing product knowledge and certification, facilitating product trials, providing educational training, and offering support for troubleshooting and complex cases. Additionally, this position involves working closely with internal teams to create enablement resources and educational pathways.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and required skills include, but are not limited to:
  • Enhancing awareness of Ottobock products within the internal partner network by building strong relationships and delivering outstanding support.
  • Coordinating product trials by managing trial crates, offering fitting assistance (either virtually or onsite), and providing education as needed.
  • Conducting educational sessions and certification training on strategic product portfolios as directed.
  • Supporting internal clinicians by assisting with product troubleshooting, complex cases, and product selection.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve clinical support by navigating healthcare resources and collaborating with Marketing and Market Management teams to develop enablement materials and processes.
  • Partnering with internal clinical leadership to create educational pathways and onboarding programs for Ottobock product training.
Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of practical clinical experience in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
  • ABC Certified prosthetist or Prosthetist/Orthotist.
  • BS, Certificate, or MPO/MS in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate technical information regarding Ottobock products.
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Preferred knowledge of the healthcare industry and clinical settings.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Anticipated travel of 50-60%.
  • Monthly travel expected, with 3-4 days spent visiting clinic locations to train onsite clinicians in Ottobock products.
Compensation and Benefits

Annual starting salary range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
