About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Focused Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children, adolescents, and families in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and individual and family therapy sessions to minor clients and their parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with other Child Services providers, including medication management, psychological assessment services, and other mental health providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Coordinate services with external care providers, including case managers, families, medical personnel, and other Ellie staff, as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Clinical licensure or licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, or other relevant licenses.
  • Passion and experience working with children, adolescents, and families, with a focus on mental health needs.
  • Knowledge of developmental principles and awareness of the intersection between normative child development and psychopathology in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes, with a preference for experience with DC:0-5, ECSII/CASII, and SDQ assessments.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and EHR systems, including collection of co-payments.
