Job Title: School Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at HealthPRO Heritage. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children with disabilities reach their maximum performance potential within an educational model of practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult and collaborate with school staff and families regarding developmental, neuromuscular, congenital, skeletal, disability-related, and acquired conditions.
  • Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations to determine students' need for services or dismissal from services.
  • Participate in the IEP process to develop present levels of performance, goals, and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for Physical Therapy services.
  • Provide Physical Therapy sessions using current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP.
  • Maintain all documentation required by the district, including daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs.
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (or Master's Degree with).
  • Current license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.
