As an OSR, you will be responsible for expanding our business within a defined sales territory, developing a persistent sales strategy, and providing top-level account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in business development activities in a field sales role, identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with clients.
- Grow Badger's business through business acquisition and account management, focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a growth strategy that aligns with the company's goals, ensuring a strong presence in the market.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients, promoting the company's services and addressing their objectives.
- Prepare sales contracts, ensuring adherence to established rules and guidelines.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support, building long-term relationships with new customers.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a business development role.
- Experience in customer support and account management, with a strong ability to build rapport with client prospects.
- Strong time management and planning skills, with proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Experience in hydrovac, construction, utilities, or environmental services industry preferred.
- Proficiency in English required, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field preferred.
About Us
Badger Daylighting Corp is North America's largest provider of non-destructive excavating services. We work with contractors and facility owners in various infrastructure industries, including energy generation, electricity, and natural gas transmission networks.
Our key technology is the Badger Hydrovac, which is used for safe excavation around critical infrastructure and in congested underground conditions. We manufacture and design our truck-mounted hydrovac units, incorporating feedback from our hydrovac operators into existing and future design and manufacturing processes.
This role is remote, with up to 75% travel to local branches, customer sites, and customer offices. We require successful completion of pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check, MVR history, and drug test. Supervisory references and education verification are also required.
