Director of Massage Therapy Programs

Fortis Colleges and Institutes are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Director to lead the Massage Therapy program. As a key member of the academic team, the Program Director will be responsible for managing the department, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, and promoting continuous improvement of the quality of instruction within the program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in academic leadership, a proven track record of success in program management, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Program Director will work closely with faculty to develop and implement academic programs, provide guidance and support to students, and contribute to the overall mission and goals of Fortis Colleges and Institutes. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the Massage Therapy program, including developing and implementing academic programs, managing faculty and staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
* Providing leadership and guidance to faculty and staff, including developing and implementing professional development programs and providing coaching and mentoring.
* Collaborating with other departments and teams to promote the mission and goals of Fortis Colleges and Institutes.
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve student outcomes and retention.
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and making recommendations for program improvement.
* Working closely with the Dean/Director of Education to develop and implement academic policies and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Master's degree in a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic leadership or program management.
* Strong background in massage therapy and academic leadership.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
* Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
* Strong commitment to student success and retention.
* Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
