Our Worldwide Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to customers every day. We are seeking driven, customer-oriented individuals who aspire to join our team as an Operations Area Supervisor.

In this position, you will oversee a team of hourly employees and will be accountable for engaging your team during their shifts to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

You will also play a crucial role in meeting our customer expectations to ensure orders are delivered accurately and promptly.

Our operational workflow consists of three main components: First mile - where products are stored and prepared for orders; Middle mile - where orders are transported to your area; and Last mile - when products reach the customer's doorstep.

Please note that while all workflows may have slight variations, one thing remains constant:
our vision and commitment to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support, mentor, and inspire your hourly workforce
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery commitments
  • Collaborate with various support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
  • Work in an environment where noise levels may vary and can be loud
  • Work in conditions that may involve variable temperatures and weather
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
