Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight for the division of Research's financial operations
  • Develop and implement financial and resource analysis, projections, and modeling to support decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with division leaders and department directors to provide training and consultative services
  • Ensure compliance with accounting guidelines, financial transactions, and financial systems
  • Develop and evaluate policies and programs to support financial system implementations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
  • Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in financial management
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting guidelines, financial transactions, and financial systems
  • Experience in providing strategic leadership and oversight for financial operations
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and management skills

California State University offers a competitive salary range of $155,000 - $175,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement participation in the Public Employees' Retirement System, and educational benefits for eligible employees.
