Role Responsibilities:
The Manager of Cardiovascular Services will oversee the daily functions and administration of the Cardiovascular Cath Labs and Cardiac Diagnostics. This role is pivotal in ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of care and foster positive relationships with physicians, patients, and hospital staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing budgetary controls and achieving productivity benchmarks.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
- Implementing evidence-based practices to enhance quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness in patient care.
- Selecting and mentoring professional management staff.
- Facilitating interdepartmental collaboration and serving as a resource for both staff and management.
- Assuming financial oversight for the department.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
Licensure/Certification:
• RN, Certified Critical Care RN (CCRN), or Advanced Practice Healthcare Professional with RCVT certification is mandatory.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Special Skills and Experience:
• Proven clinical experience in relevant administrative roles, with a strong grasp of management principles affecting practice scope and laboratory operations.
• Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication.
Experience:
• A minimum of 1-3 years of leadership experience in Cardiovascular Services is necessary.
