Cardiovascular Technician PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Lake City Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician PRN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and operate equipment for cardiac catheterizations and other special procedures
  • Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterizations and other special procedures
  • Perform hemodynamic monitoring and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification
  • Previous Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the cardiovascular system and EKG arrhythmias
  • Able to recognize abnormalities, correlate information obtained, and convey findings to physicians
  • Proficient computer skills in basic software systems (e.g., Word, Excel, EHR)
