Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling, transforming raw data using advanced analytical tools such as SQL programming, Power Query, Power BI, C#, Visual Studio, ETL development, Azure, Advanced Excel, and VB for Microsoft Office Products to generate tailored outputs.
- Execute financial calculations including interest rates, amortization, participation allocation, and NAV.
- Establish safeguards and quality control methods.
- Analyze, design, and develop modifications for existing projects as well as new initiatives aimed at implementing custom Finance Management and Control reporting applications.
- Define methodologies for database design and development, providing solutions, estimations, and executing development tasks.
- Propose technical solutions and enhancements proactively, analyzing various options to weigh pros and cons.
- Prepare technical documentation, strategize deployment, and support implementation efforts.
- Contribute to strategic projects by offering guidance, conducting technical reviews, and establishing best practices for team members on development and project-related topics.
- Monitor component obsolescence and plan for upgrades.
- Comprehend complex credit structures, loan documentation, and valuation processes.
- Collaborate with clients and external parties.
- Develop project deliverables, including comprehensive reports and data presentations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an analytics role utilizing Advanced Excel, SQL, Power Query (M Language), C#, Visual Studio, and Power BI.
- Previous experience in a finance company, direct lending, fund administration, commercial banking, specialty servicing, or investment firm.
- Proficient in performing relevant financial calculations.
- Understanding of the transactional aspects of loan accounting for the purpose of transforming data and calculations into user-friendly outputs.
- Ability to write efficient, complex queries against large datasets and intricate business requirements.
- High levels of ownership and motivation, with a collaborative work style.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Capability and willingness to manage multiple tasks and re-prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting.
