Job Overview

This role is pivotal in overseeing forecasting, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and lifecycle management of materials for a diverse range of products and services within the Procurement Operations Center.


The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project work plans, resources, and performance metrics to ensure that activities are executed efficiently and within budgetary constraints.


This position involves leading a team of up to four direct reports and collaborating with various departments, including Supply Chain, Information Services, and Pharmacy, to achieve strategic objectives and enhance service delivery.


All activities should align with organizational requirements while being executed at optimal cost and efficiency in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Oversee and coordinate all aspects of forecasting, procurement, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, distribution, and logistics services to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.

2. Manage vendor performance and costs through effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

3. Coordinate operational processes related to product transformation, including delivery, replacement, returns, and disposal.

4. Identify and implement analytical solutions that enhance project and operational outcomes.

5. Establish clear priorities, develop actionable plans, and proactively address potential challenges.

6. Communicate effectively regarding the status of initiatives, performance metrics, and budgetary considerations.

7. Ensure accountability for delivering projects and operational initiatives on time and within financial parameters.

8. Organize and facilitate meetings and collaborative efforts across various levels of staff and management.
