About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our team at the Hermès South Coast Plaza boutique. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for achieving sales and customer service objectives while adhering to operational asset protection standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet monthly and annual individual sales goals while working as part of a team to achieve the boutique's collective target.
  • Organize and prioritize the selling floor to support the sales effort and overall customer experience.
  • Maintain selling floor standards, including straightening, filling in, and replenishing new receipts following visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Provide assistance as needed in inventory preparation.
  • Process and ensure the accuracy of all transactions, including receipts, CRM files, and administrative support of after-sales service.
  • Partner with management on POS decisions and communicate discrepancies during opening, closing, and general POS variances.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times.
  • Comply with all asset protection procedures, including employee sign-in sheets, bag checks, and key control and merchandise security.
  • Practice appropriate AP techniques and follow guidelines for physical EAS tagging and product ticketing.
  • Prepare for physical inventory and participate in monthly cycle counts.
  • Provide high levels of service to clients, adhering to the Hermès standard of service: prompt and friendly greeting, offer to assist, and answer questions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Strong relationship development and impeccable communication skills.
  • Even-tempered with the ability to continuously multi-task.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently while balancing collaboration with a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Open availability to accommodate the needs of the business.
  • Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs. without assistance.
