About the Role:

Columbus Regional Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiac Stepdown Unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring and assistance with daily living activities
  • Collaborate with nurses to engage patients through various activities, such as answering call lights and questions
  • Perform cardiac monitoring and interpretation, as well as Stat EKG

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Verifiable work experience, with healthcare-related experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Work Environment:

This position requires regular standing, frequent walking, and occasional use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects. You will also be required to frequently lift and/or move objects greater than 50 pounds.

Benefits:

This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive hourly rate, shift differentials, and premium pay. With at least 16 hours per week, you will be eligible for benefits.

Shift and Schedule:

You will be scheduled to work 3 -12 hour night shifts (36 hours/week), with start/end times of 7:00PM-7:30AM, and will be required to work holidays and weekends.
