Job Title: New Business Policy Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented New Business Policy Representative to join our team at Ameritas. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for processing new Life Insurance policies from application to issue, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process new Life Insurance policies from application to issue, adhering to industry/state regulations and internal/external audit recommendations.
  • Field customer inquiries and provide empathetic and patient support to all customers.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of processes and systems across the organization, as they relate to administrative functions.
  • Meet or exceed service standards with respect to accuracy, turnaround time, and overall quality of products and services.
  • Responsible for account reconciliation, utilizing appropriate systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Correspond with Legal and Compliance departments as necessary for assistance in handling complex cases and customer complaints.
  • Complete special assignments and projects within provided timeframes, staying abreast of product and case education and associate training and coaching.
  • Identify and resolve system and processing-related issues, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • H.S. Diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years Related Experience required.
  • Previous experience working with Life Insurance and/or Annuity products is highly preferred.
