Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Fleet Maintenance General Manager to join our team in Williamsburg, VA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our transit bus fleet management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a successful contract relationship with our clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of our transit bus fleet, meeting all regulatory and quality standards.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring that our operations are delivered within budget and that we are achieving our business objectives.
  • Negotiate operating budgets and contractual terms with customers, ensuring that we are delivering value for money.
  • Assess resource needs, problems, and trends, and develop action plans to address these and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that our team members have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including First Quality Management (FQM) requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fleet management or maintenance leadership, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to move about the office and between floors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
