Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Fleet Maintenance General Manager to join our team in Williamsburg, VA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our transportation services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a successful contract relationship with our clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of our fleet of vehicles.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure the successful delivery of our services within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including First Quality Management (FQM) requirements.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to develop location and company initiatives.
- Establish training goals and requirements for all personnel.
- Satisfy client, corporate, and contractual reporting requirements and needs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management or maintenance leadership.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and motivate highly effective teams.
- Successful track record in managing budgets and/or P&L responsibility.
- Ability to interface with various stakeholders, including clients, directors, elected officials, operators, and all levels of hourly and salaried employees.
- Competitive salary of $90,000 based on experience.
