  • Review and edit content for fairness, accuracy, and balance, ensuring that our reporting meets the highest standards of journalism.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a newsroom environment, with a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills and expertise.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt to different formats and platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of current media creation tools and technologies, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and community members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced news environment, with a strong understanding of the demands and challenges of digital journalism.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their role in content distribution and engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
