Job Summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Product Test Engineering Intern/Co-Op to join our team. As a Product Test Engineering Intern/Co-Op, you will have the opportunity to work on next-generation computing experiences and contribute to the development of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform yield analysis and use industry-standard tools to support yield debug and failure analysis.
  • Collaborate with our team to determine product performance, process, and test sensitivities.
  • Develop scripts or tools to improve efficiency and automate tasks.
  • Participate in test planning, building test cases, pattern debug, characterization, data analysis, and silicon debug of scan/ATPG, memory BIST & High Speed I/O tests.
  • Learn and apply failure mechanisms and debug processes.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a US-based University in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge or experience with Linux, Ruby/Perl/Python, Java, and other technical skills.
  • Basic understanding of transistors and computer architecture.
  • Microsoft Office apps and SQL, Data analysis & visualization tools.
  • XP, AGILE, Scrum, or Kanban programming paradigms.
  • Logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes.
  • Course work completed in Statistics, Solid State and Semiconductor Device Physics, Computer Architecture, Digital and Analog Design, Semiconductor Manufacturing Process.
