Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Product Development Engineering Intern/Co-Op to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of next-generation AMD microprocessors.
Key Responsibilities- Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and building production test programs through parametric, data, and statistical analysis.
- Perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage, and meet target goals to initiate production ramp.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and improve efficiency.
- Build and maintain technical documents, debug manufacturing and characterization test programs, and participate in product debug and characterization to identify product performance, process, and test sensitivities.
- Currently enrolled in a United States-based University in a Graduate program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge/experience with C++, Linux, Perl, Ruby, shell script, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with GIT, SVN, CVS, RCS, or similar version control systems.
- Understanding of XP, AGILE, Scrum, or Kanban programming paradigms.
- Experience with logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and debug tools.
- Solid understanding of transistors and computer basics.
- Courses in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Logic, Circuit Theory, and Computer Architecture.
