Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware Engineering intern/co-op to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD). As a Hardware Engineering intern/co-op, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with engineers and contribute to the development of AMD's next-generation technology innovations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and develop discrete and embedded hardware products
  • Build applications for external and internal use, as well as large-scale systems that improve the efficiency of AMD's Hardware organization
  • Participate in the development of ASIC design and verification, ML and AI, system/board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, power design, hardware automation, validation, and test
  • Work with UNIX and JTAG tools, pre-silicon and/or post-silicon platforms, computer architecture, CPU & GPU architecture
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a US-based University in a graduate program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge/experience with C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, MATLAB, and/or related areas
