Diagnostic Radiology Specialist

As a Diagnostic Radiology Specialist, you will play a vital role in our mission by providing high-quality imaging services to assist in diagnosis or treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
  • Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.
  • Provide care for patients ranging in age from newborn through geriatric.
  • Provide practical instruction to students.
Cath Lab Specific Responsibilities:
  • Cross-trained to provide intraprocedural duties during cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures.
  • Operate Siemens x-ray/digital equipment (single plane) and portable c-arm.
  • Respond to STEMI alerts during assigned shifts.
  • Surgical scrub assisting physician during invasive/interventional procedures while maintaining sterile field.
  • May assist with circulating to pull needed equipment/supplies during procedure.
  • Assist with sheath pulls, deployment of closure devices, radial, and groin management.
  • Participate in patient transport.
  • Assume professional responsibility, accountability, and initiative.
  • Successfully complete Telemetry Course.
  • Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.
Requirements:
  • Certification by ARRT.
  • Valid license issued by ODH.
  • CPR certification.
  • Radiologic Licensure, RTR.
