The State of Florida is seeking a highly skilled Investigation Specialist II to join our team in the Division of Compliance and Enforcement.
About the Role:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for the day-to-day intake and processing of complaints and inquiries from the public concerning issues regulated by the Division's program areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and apply specific portions of regulations and policies to resolve complaints and inquiries
- Conduct thorough investigations to determine the facts and circumstances surrounding complaints and inquiries
- Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve complaints and inquiries
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
- Provide excellent customer service to the public and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in investigation, compliance, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
