Position Overview:
As a Program Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients in a nurturing environment. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily care of older adults or individuals with disabilities, ensuring their health and safety.
  • Help develop and implement engaging individual and group activities, fostering social interaction and recreation.
  • Support clients with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Encourage social skills, self-advocacy, and independence through guidance and support.
  • Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments and community activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in providing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably with older adults.
  • Current physical examination and annual TB test.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Proficient in monitoring vital signs and assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • A compassionate approach and a responsible attitude.
