Route Sales and Service Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Route Sales and Service Representative to join our team at Heritage Crystal Clean LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding business at new and existing customer sites, while also performing service tasks at customer facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and develop new business opportunities in assigned geographic areas.
  • Minimize mileage and travel time by optimizing work orders and routes.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with company standards.
  • Service existing customers and pursue additional services to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Present products and services to customers and develop new accounts to drive business growth.
  • Develop sales leads for Data-Marketing and other business development initiatives.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly, and maintain accurate records of sales and service activities.
  • Achieve sales quotas for total revenue and new customer development, and adhere to corporate policies and standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and corporate departments.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as mobile devices, computers, and truck equipment.
  • Route sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, and a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Med Card with Airbrake and HAZMAT endorsements.
  • Motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds company standards.
