Job Title: Route Sales Representative Driver

Vestis Services is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative Driver to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a company step van to provide products and services to customers.
  • Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
  • Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Load and unload products according to company policies and procedures.
  • Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
  • Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
  • Develop leads and prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
  • Assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.
  • Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Take responsibility for personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
  • Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
  • Strong math and basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.
Working Environment:
  • Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions.
  • Fast-paced environment sometimes requiring irregular and long hours.
  • Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 pounds and load/unload product from the truck without assistance.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ pounds.
  • This position requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
Education and Certifications:
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License (not CDL) with minimal points/violations in the last three years.
