Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Health Consultant to join our team, responsible for implementing strategic and tactical multi-year wellbeing plans that enhance the health and wellbeing of HMSA members and their dependents. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our commercial employer groups to develop and implement workplace wellbeing initiatives, increase employee participation and engagement, and promote a culture of health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tactical Activities: Implement tactical workplace well-being plans for employer groups utilizing industry, national, and state best practices to increase employee participation and engagement. Conduct training and/or seminars for employer groups' administrators, members, leaders, and/or group decision makers at workshops and/or seminar sessions.
  • Strategic Activities: Participate on the strategic planning team and assist with analyzing and providing insights based on the reporting data provided under the plan. Manage internal and external customer relationships and participate in strategic planning and evaluation sessions with partner Business Teams.
  • Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of $57,629 - $88,159, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous 401(k) matching program.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. One year of experience in a teaching, training, sales, marketing, health promotions, project management, or related position. Effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent planning, coordination, and organization skills, strong decision-making and problem analysis skills, strong customer servicing skills, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license with access to an automobile with current license, registration, and no-fault insurance. Active license with the state of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs or pass all four sections of the state licensing examination within three (3) months of hire date.
