The McCarty Memorial Christian Church is dedicated to fostering an environment where individuals can experience and express God's love through Christian discipleship. Our focus lies in worship, study, fellowship, and service, all aimed at deepening our discipleship journey by connecting with Jesus, the Spirit, our community, and the pursuit of justice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and orchestrate the worship music ministry in collaboration with the Assistant Pastor/Worship Coordinator and other team members, ensuring alignment with the Senior Pastor's vision and the church's mission.
- Possess fluency and proficiency in various musical genres, including Gospel, Soul, Funk, and Hymns.
- Oversee and coordinate music for the congregation's worship services, ensuring that the music serves as a conduit for praise, prayer, and gratitude.
- Play the piano or organ during all Sunday services.
- As requested by the pastoral team, coordinate and perform music for weddings and funerals held at the church.
- Direct and conduct regular rehearsals (twice a week) for the choir and musicians.
