Position Overview:
Chipton-Ross is in search of a dedicated Merchandise Operations Coordinator for a contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming inventory and preparing gift packages for business partners. This role includes:

  • Coordinating and processing incoming merchandise inventory.
  • Maintaining precise inventory counts and preparing gift bags for distribution.
  • Assisting the Account Management Team with stock merchandise orders.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.


Specific Duties Include:
  • Receiving merchandise at the loading dock and verifying accuracy.
  • Moving inventory between locations and managing stock levels to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborating with the supply chain team to ensure inventory availability.
  • Preparing daily customer gift bag requests according to specifications.
  • Packaging items for domestic and international shipping, including label creation.
  • Coordinating transportation for gift bag deliveries.
  • Supporting Account Managers with stock orders as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace that is welcoming to internal clients.
  • Delivering an outstanding customer service experience.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in retail operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder updates.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 35 lbs.
  • Completion of training is required for this position.
