**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supervise and train service technicians to perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Schedule and assign work to technicians according to their skill level and availability.
  • Oversee the inventory management of supplies and parts in the service department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Coordinate with the service advisor to ensure timely and accurate completion of customer work orders.
  • Monitor and maintain customer satisfaction ratings and address any customer concerns or complaints.
  • Collaborate with the service manager to develop and implement process improvements for the service department.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continually improve the service department.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a service or automotive technician role, preferably in a management capacity.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with service management software.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
