RideNow Powersports Service Advisor Job Description

RideNow Powersports, a subsidiary of RumbleOn, is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Concord, NC. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support in the Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments for repair, maintenance, and recall work, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Greet customers, inspect their powersports vehicles, and provide expert advice on necessary services and repairs.
  • Document problems with motorcycles, ATVs, Side-by-Sides, and Personal Watercraft, clearly describing them on the repair order.
  • Notify the Service Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion, ensuring seamless communication with customers.
  • Advise customers on necessary services and costs, offering personalized recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Offer additional services and products, including special promotions, to enhance the customer experience.
  • Review repair orders in progress to ensure quality and timeliness, maintaining high standards of service excellence.
  • Follow the status of a customer's powersports vehicle from service bay entry through completion, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
  • Communicate any changes in timeline, repairs, or cost to the customer, maintaining transparency and trust.
  • Upon completion of work, review the work order with the customer, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of powersports or automotive dealership experience, with a strong background in customer service and repair order documentation.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Experience writing concise but detailed repair orders for vehicles, with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a pleasant, energetic, and conscientious personality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record, with a motorcycle endorsement preferred.
