Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Penrose Hospital. As a key member of our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the department director/manager in coordinating clinical and department activities.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a clinical nurse and resource to the staff, authorizing work procedures and assigning duties, shift charge, and providing input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and ensure high-quality care delivery to each patient.
  • Act as a vital link between physicians and the patient care team to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
Requirements
  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
  • Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire or within 8 weeks of hire.
  • ACLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire or within 6 months of hire.
  • NIHSS required upon hire or within 6 months of hire.
  • TNCC or TCAR required upon hire or within 6 months of hire.
  • At least one year recent RN ICU experience required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $37.31 to $64.96 per hour, depending on experience.
