Position Overview


The Money Movement Solutions team offers a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to empower integrated experiences that will redefine the future of financial transactions and assist clients in reaching billions of endpoints.

These solutions harness Visa's capabilities across Visa Direct, Currencycloud, and B2B Connect to facilitate both domestic and international use cases, including person-to-person transfers, disbursements, and collections.

The Lead Strategist will play a pivotal role within the Money Movement Solutions Strategy & Operations team.

This team is instrumental in shaping long-term strategies, spearheading strategic initiatives, and delivering business insights and analytics for Money Movement Solutions.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and research support for strategic planning
  • Lead projects by defining methodologies, formulating recommendations, and crafting communications to garner support from essential stakeholders
  • Conduct in-depth analyses across various business growth and operational domains to identify key trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Support project management needs and ongoing operations across critical cross-functional and cross-geographical interactions
  • Develop clear and concise communications for executive-level audiences

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor's degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
Experience in management consulting or strategic planning teams is preferred.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work autonomously within a complex and often ambiguous environment while managing multiple workstreams.
Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to derive insights and strategies, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey compelling messages.
Willingness to collaborate in cross-functional, global teams with personnel at all levels to achieve project objectives.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Tableau or Power BI is preferred.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies based on departmental needs.

Travel Requirements: This position may require travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This role will be performed in an office environment, requiring the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and via telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,900 to 172,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
