Role Responsibilities:
As a Spanish Linguist/Translator, you will be responsible for:
- Translating, reviewing, and validating content while adhering to established style guides and terminology.
- Conducting thorough post-translation reviews to ensure language accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborating with internal teams to address client feedback and verify the implementation of necessary changes.
- Providing daily support for linguistic inquiries from internal clients and vendors.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Professional experience in translation and editing, specifically in marketing, finance, legal, and banking materials for Spanish-speaking audiences.
- Expertise in transcreating content that resonates culturally and emotionally with the target audience.
- A Bachelor's degree in Spanish translation or linguistics is preferred.
- ATA certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Acrobat and translation management systems.
- Experience with terminology management tools and internet-based resources.
- A background in working within complex organizational structures.
