Job Title: Bi-Lingual Spanish Customer Service Representative

This role is a key contributor to the success of Cognizant Contact Center for Foodservice. The ideal candidate will provide support to the Selling Team, field partners, and Direct Customers, handling service and delivery inquiries and resolving concerns for one of Cognizant Food Service Clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer sales and sales support interactions from customers and sales associates, including general inquiries, feedback, incidents, and order management.
  • Utilize computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.
  • Answer basic inquiries and resolve basic problems.
  • Document issues, identify, and take appropriate actions to resolve inquiries, including those related to order entry, order modification, customer billing and payments, pricing, reporting, and customer-facing applications.
  • Redirect incoming callers to self-service options.
  • Perform proactive outbound follow-up communications as necessary.
  • Process orders and other related voice and non-voice tasks as needed to meet client needs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years' experience in a customer service function or an associate degree.
  • Ability to easily switch between English and Spanish language to support customer needs.
  • Self-starter with a customer service orientation.
  • Ability to select and apply standard policies and procedures.
  • Ability to resolve routine problems and questions independently.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details and use time effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with good vocabulary, proper grammar, and the ability to independently compose routine written communications.
