- Collaboration and Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with UNC Health Care leadership, UNC Faculty Physicians staff, and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and partnerships that advance the organization's goals.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of UNC Faculty Physicians, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
- Human Resources: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, diversity, and inclusion.
- Change Management: Drive organizational change and transformation, navigating potential resistance and fostering buy-in.
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution, with board certification in an appropriate discipline.
- Experience: 12 years of progressively responsible experience within a hospital or large healthcare system, including 10 years of experience in people management.
- Knowledge and Skills: Deep understanding of complex healthcare systems, regulatory environments, billing/coding practices, insurance, and reimbursement models. Expertise in managing a large physician group, including compensation structures, recruitment, physician relations, and productivity.
