Job Summary

Become part of a dynamic organization with a mission to improve the health and well-being of diverse communities. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will be part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical: Obtain relevant health and medical history, perform thorough physical assessments, and develop treatment plans, including prescribing and ordering evidence-based pharmacological agents.
  • Education: Educate clients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up, and collaborate with clinicians and staff to promote continuity and patient-centered care.
  • Leadership: Provide instruction to physicians, house staff, and students, and participate in community outreach programs to improve healthcare delivery.
  • Professional: Interact with patients and families in a respectful and timely manner, and collaborate with coworkers and team members to meet patient care needs.
  • Quality/Research: Engage in daily continuous quality improvement, consult with management, and lead interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated delivery of patient care services.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program.
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina.
  • Board certification if required by the Department.
  • DEA.
