Overview
GCG is currently looking for a Manufacturing Assembler to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will engage in repetitive assembly tasks and specialized operations to create final products for a diverse clientele.

You will operate independently with minimal oversight to complete tasks within the designated time frame.


Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare daily work assignments by reviewing parts lists and collecting necessary materials and tools.
2. Interpret and follow assembly instructions accurately.
3. Conduct product inspections using various methods (visual checks, measuring tools, etc.).
4. Coil, hank, or spool electrical wire and cable as needed.
5. Utilize hand tools or machinery to cut, strip, and terminate electrical wire and cable.
6. Solder wires or terminals and/or tin components.
7. Assemble housings, covers, or connectors.
8. Verify specifications by measuring and maintaining accurate counts of parts in progress.
9. Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established procedures and regulations.
10. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
11. Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or 1-3 months of production experience and/or training or a combination of education and experience.
2. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and effectively communicate information in one-on-one situations.
3. Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
4. Competence in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in both English and Metric systems.
5. Capability to understand and execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
6. Ability to distinguish between colors.
7. Physical stamina and strength to stand, walk, and sit as required by the job.
8. Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components.
9. Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling may be required.
10. Ability to lift/move products weighing up to specified limits.
