Responsibilities and Requirements:Job Summary

Katalyst Healthcares and Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Assembler to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.
  • Quality Control: Conducts quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Equipment Operation: Sets up, operates, performs maintenance on, and troubleshoots equipment.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills at a level that coworkers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Occasionally required to lift or move at least 50 pounds.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills, ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English, and perform basic math calculations.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, and occasionally lift or move at least 50 pounds.
