Event Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at the Construction Association of South Florida (CASF). As an Event Coordinator, you will play a key role in planning and executing events for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute approximately 55 events annually, including networking, social, and educational events
  • Develop new events, initiatives, and member services to enhance the association's offerings
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve partner and sponsorship goals
  • Oversee event logistics, including setup and breakdown of event materials
  • Foster and grow relationships with association members
  • Manage the association database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in events-related roles
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to travel throughout the tri-county area
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
