Marketing and Events Coordinator

The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for managing all digital and print marketing materials, overseeing relationships with marketing agencies and partners, and occasionally updating website content and designing graphics for social media and email campaigns. Additionally, the Marketing and Events Coordinator supports Advancement Officers by providing marketing resources to drive business growth and secure new donors. The role also includes assisting Special Events Manager with coordinating special and community events, managing logistics, negotiations, scheduling, committee and sponsor relations, and procuring event-related items such as auction items. This position reports to the Vice President of Advancement.

In addition, you will receive a SIGN-ON INCENTIVE OF 40 HOURS OF VACATION TIME OFF AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR 90 DAYS PROBATIONARY PERIOD, TO BE TAKEN WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.
Key Responsibilities- Manage digital and print marketing materials, including website content and social media graphics.

- Assist Special Events Manager with event coordination and logistics.
- Procure event-related items, including auction items.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Business preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing or related field.
- Strong writing and design skills, including experience with computer design programs and website maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to create and execute a strategic marketing plan.
- Effective communication skills and ability to communicate with different forms of businesses and groups.
- Valid Florida driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Creole is a plus.
