Respiratory Therapist II

Prime Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Dallas Medical Center. As a member of our award-winning team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated group of professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, the Respiratory Therapist II will be responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. This will include assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care, taking into account the patient's age and population-specific needs.
QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have a State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License, a current BCLS (AHA) certificate, and a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Two years of experience as an RCP is preferred, as is an Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree. You must also have ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications within 60 days of hire.
