Respiratory Therapist II

Dallas Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider, seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team. As a member of our award-winning team, you will be part of a community dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of respiratory therapy.
Responsibilities- Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians, with a focus on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care, considering age and population-specific needs.
- Assume lead responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor, overseeing the respiratory therapy section or department during shifts.
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
- 2 years of experience as an RCP preferred, with ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications highly valued.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred, with a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
