We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Job Summary:The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for coordinating and delivering respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures. You will work closely with the healthcare team to monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
Responsibilities:- Perform patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, or State Registered Respiratory Therapist certification, or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), or Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT), or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) certification.
