We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our multidisciplinary care team at Methodist Charlton Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist PRN, you will play a critical role in providing evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing to patients.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform diagnostic testing and procedures to assess patient respiratory function
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
