Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Test Equipment Engineering Manager** to lead our team of engineers in designing and testing systems for Raytheon products.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of approximately 10-20 engineers in designing and testing systems for Raytheon products.
  • Establishing meaningful and measurable goals and communicating effectively with the team to ensure alignment with the department and center.
  • Conducting formal and informal performance reviews and career development discussions with team members.
  • Representing the Test Equipment Engineering team as the northeastern region point of contact for TE classified information systems and the Test Equipment Network lead across Raytheon to maintain test integrity.
  • Collaborating with multi-discipline teams in the operation, testing, and troubleshooting of systems.
  • Supporting Flight Test capabilities and processes for Raytheon test systems.
  • Developing Cybersecurity compliant TE (Linux, IOS, Windows).
  • Troubleshooting production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity.
  • Collaborating with Digital Technologies to integrate TE to controlled networks or enterprises.
  • Collaborating with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance.
  • Collaborating with engineering to ensure changes do not affect the availability or test integrity on the TE.
  • Supporting any and all reviews required prior to the implementation of any changes to the TE.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and ten (10) years' prior relevant experience OR an Advanced STEM degree and 7 years' prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems in desktop and server environments.
  • Typically requires two (2) years' experience managing Test Equipment on a DoD compliant information systems.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • Current DoD m IAT II certified credentials (Sec+, CISM, etc.) or higher.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Master of Science degree in STEM.
  • DoD m IAT/IAM III certified credentials (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
  • Experience working in a DoD Special Access Programs environment.
  • ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Windows, Linux (operating systems in desktop and server environments).
  • Excellent troubleshooting ability with all Microsoft Windows and Linux systems to quickly return system to operational status.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of network infrastructure architecture and operation including Active Directory, group policy design, file sharing, NIS, and DNS.
  • Excellent customer service and training skills, including oral and technical written communications.
  • Excellent independent problem-solving ability of hardware/software issues.
  • Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Experience with Virtualization to include VMWare, Hyper-V, vCenter, vSphere, and ESX computing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience scripting in Windows and Linux to include legacy systems.
