As a Substance Use Counselor, you will be an integral part of our cross-functional care team, working alongside prescribers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches, and office managers to deliver a holistic clinical model.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Actively participating in the treatment team and becoming an expert on addiction and recovery.
  • Managing a schedule and caseload that supports the needs of the office and region.
  • Leading group therapy sessions that build recovery skills and foster community.
  • Documenting members' progress and using outcome measures and client feedback.
  • Engaging in community relations activities, such as distributing brochures and attending meetings related to substance abuse and addiction topics.
