Job Title: Residential Therapist

Join our team at The Next Door Recovery, a leading provider of evidence-based substance abuse and mental health services for women. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Therapist to provide direct clinical services to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Residential Therapist will provide individual, group, and crisis counseling to women with substance use disorders and/or mental health diagnoses. This role requires a strong understanding of trauma-informed care and the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide weekly psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups for clients
  • Complete ASAM and continued/discharge stay ASAMs along with Treatment plans updated weekly
  • Attend and participate in weekly treatment team meetings
  • Assist in managing clients' crises as needed
  • Ensure timely and professional documentation in accordance with TNDR, Inc. policy, the ACA code of ethics
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
  • License preferred in Mental Health, Social Work or Marriage and Family, or LADAC II
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with target population
