Job Summary

Cedar Recovery is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality therapy services to our patients, working collaboratively with medical providers, therapy providers, and administrative professionals to deliver best-in-class care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions, administering patient assessments as clinically indicated and orienting patients to treatment program policies and procedures.
  • Establish and build rapport with clients, establishing SMART goals and monitoring progress.
  • Conduct initial assessments and formulate individual plans of care, managing and improving the care of the patient population across health, substance abuse, and mental health treatment.
  • Maintain licensure and certification, completing required CEU's and providing referrals outside of Cedar Recovery as clinically indicated.
  • Report to the lead therapist for supervision, guidance, and direction.
Qualifications
  • A master's level degree in counseling or a related field.
  • A licensed clinician preferred (LPC-MHSP, LCSW).
  • Consideration of applicants will be weighed based on experience in the field and educational background, with a master's or higher in social work, counseling, and/or a related field of study.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional treatment environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), with days and hours of work Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The clinician must also be available to respond to questions from their clinical team as needed.
