Job Description

Position: Administrative Contract Coordinator for Government Contracts

Location: Remote/Hybrid (with occasional office visits if required)

Type: Part-Time hours per week

Duration: 6 months, Potential for extension or future full-time opportunities based on performance

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Contract Coordinator to support our team in managing government contracts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in contract administration, project coordination, and understanding the intricacies of government procurement processes. The position is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in public administration, business management, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation, review, and organization of contract documentation and reports.
  • Support the Project Manager and team members in coordinating contract-related activities, including meetings, communications, and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract files, correspondence, and other documentation.
  • Conduct research on government procurement policies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Prepare summary reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with the drafting of meeting minutes, status updates, and other administrative tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including data entry, scheduling, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Public Administration, Business, Law, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in government contracts, public administration, or procurement is a plus.
