Center Administrator

As a key member of the Tampa General Hospital team, the Center Administrator will play a vital role in advancing the quality, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency of the Center and its programs. This dynamic leader will work closely with the Center Medical Director to develop and implement strategies for growth, expansion, and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for growth, and develop strategies to close market gaps.
- Monitor and analyze center operations to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
- Track and report on center volume and growth, and develop strategies to increase efficiency.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement operational efficiency initiatives.
- Provide administrative oversight of the Center and its programs, including finances, personnel, educational programs, public relations, and physical resources.
- Interview, hire, and assign work to employees supervised, and evaluate their work performance.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors, key stakeholders, and HVI leadership to develop strategic plans and proposals.
- Co-lead center governance with the Medical Director, promoting inclusion and participation of all physicians and operational areas that impact the Center.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and KPIs within the Center, and partner with operations and PI teams to execute initiatives for quality improvement.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the specialty area managed.
- Knowledge of specialty-specific billing, coding, inpatient, and outpatient work.
- Progressive supervisory experience, including financial analysis.
- Proficient in using computer applications for analyzing data, communicating, and producing reports.
